Hi,
I have just returned from a holiday near Castril in Granada. I saw this buzzard around that area and at first thought it was a rather pale Common Buzzard but on reviewing the photos think it might be a Long-legged Buzzard. Aside from the plumage features shown in the pictures it was soaring with its wings in a very clear 'V' shape. I have also attached a photo of a small bird that I think may be a Dartford Warbler, but am not sure. Any ideas on these would be appreciated.
Luke

Hi Luke,

The buzzard is a Common Buzzard. We do get some odd looking ones, but despite appearances this one is our normal buzzards.

Your small bird looks like it could be Subalpine Warbler.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks Peter, that's really helpful. I know it's not a bird but I also came across this lizard and haven't been able to identify it. Does anyone know what it is?
