To all members

A day touring the area known as Sierra de Libar within the boundaries of the Parque Natural Sierra de Grazalema.

Meet in the car park of the Venta La Vega on the Sevilla road from Ronda. More details and precise directions depending on interest from members. Please post your interest as a reply on this thread.

Peter

Unfortunately, I can't be there on the 2nd -March  that awkward thing called 'work' means I have to be in the UK!  However, I hope to visit the area  in mid-February and again in mid-April.  The reason is simple - this is a terrific area and I urge anyone to pop along if they can.  Not only that, but Peter is an engaging and knowledgable guide,

Count me and Eve in.  Even though the Llanos de LĂbar are just behind Montejaque, where we live, and we go there frequently, it'll be a pleasure going there with you.  It was the first place where we heard the wind in the wings of Griffon Vultures.

Unfortunately for us we can't attend. Most weekdays, at least for this year, will be no good for us I'm afraid.  :(

Hi Peter

Unfortunately, I will be starting back to work on the 2nd March, after the half-term semana blanca holidays.   >:(

Kind regards

I'll be there, mostly just to prove I don't completely live in a cyber world and that I do, in fact, exist in the flesh :)

Hello,

I would love to join the group, though I will need to confirm a few weeks before if that's ok.

Regards

Hi Everyone,

Good to hear a number can attend our foray into the beautiful area that is Sierra de Libar. Equally it is sad we will not meet Kevin, Brian and John.

More news nearer the day and a question. Where would you all like to go for lunch (cost not included)??

I would imagine Sue as she shouldn't overdo the walking.

Seriously,  ;D

There is that nice area at the top by the refugio de Montejaque, Wouldn't it be nice for everyone to bring some food and we'll cook it up there?

I volunteer to do the barbecue cooking stuff...

It'll be fun

Rosie

Hello Rosie,

Thank you for joining us and a warm welcome. I very much hope you can both make it for our day in the Sierra de Libar. I am not sure, but Penny may be coming along.

I am off leading a group in Costa Rica tomorrow, so will be unable to post on the forum until my return on the 16th of February.

 :)
