Osprey returns to Spain for the winter, or will this tracked individual continue it's journey south and into Africa? A fascinating account of a satellite tracked individual migrating from the UK to her wintering grounds. In her first three days of migration 30 had covered 540km, 547km and 546km respectively. Such consistent flying demonstrates what an incredible navigator she has become.

Hi Peter

Just followed the link,  have to say how fantastic, what a great site!  Really brings home just how amazing these and all the other migrating birds are and how mind-blowing this technology is.  The fact we can feel part of this female osprey's journey, just brilliant!

Also, what great pacing from her, 540km, 547km and 546km that's pretty impressive regularity.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention.

Regards
