Hi Peeps
We were at Laguna de Fuente de Piedra and met Peter Jones on Saturday.  He pointed out 7 Lesser Flamingos.  I have been back up there today and they were still there.  I have some photos but there are a long way away and you can only see that they are different birds.

I'm getting tempted!  It's just over 2 and a half hours from Alcala which is normally much too farfor me, but if I got a very early start and then drifted back via Marchena area looking for bustards could make it worth the effort.  However, I'd like a bit more detail!  I assume that they were visible from the visitor's centre.  If so when is the centre open and when does heat haze become a problem?  I'll have a scope (x25) which I assume would be vital,

Hi Frank,

Good to know the birds are still there. Any chance of keeping us up to date with the birds at Fuente de Piedra?
