Hi all,

I am over here on holiday staying in Mollina. This is the first time I have been here and am seeing lots of great birds. I hope the following requests are not too big!

Does anyone know of a sight nearish to Mollina where you can see beeaters, rollers, and water birds? Also, what about small passerines like larks, wheatears, sparrows and warblers?

I have been to the Fuente de Piedra a couple times and have seen hoopoes, stilts, wh duck, kentish plovers, flamingoes, gb terns and white storks.

Thanks in advance for any info,

Hi Nick,

I have asked Mick Richardson to reply as he knows your area very well. He is also contactable through his blog www.lojawildlife.com so rather than wait you could try him there.

Apologises from Mick but he crashed his computer after posting on his thread here!!! Poor old Mick, he must be suffering in the heat of the Granada province.
