I wasn't sure where to put this...

Mona, from Hotel Al Lago, Zahara near Grazalema, is making homemade Christmas cakes and mince pies if anyone is interested. She is taking orders now.

Contact Mona at info@al-lago.es if you would like to pre-order.

We will be passing the hotel on the field trip on December 8th.

Hello Petrea,

I assume that they are the typical English Christmas cake as Mona is English. They are delicious fruit cakes with brandy, usually covered in marzipan and glace icing.  I could be wrong....

I really think you should contact Mona to find out more details etc.

Saludos,

I[ve been trying to download the prices from Hotel Al Lago for Christmas produce but it was too large to post.

Christmas cakes are 12 euros for 650g
                                  20 euros for 1.250g
                                  38 euros for 2kgs

Mince pies at 10 euros for 6
Gingerbread loaf 15 euros

Also there lots of other delicious bits and pieces.

If you are interested it would be better to email info@al-lago.es and ask for the attachment yourself.
