Title: HUGE VICTORY FOR ENVIRONMENT - MOUSE ROARS IN BAVARIA
Post by: Jim Wardell on February 17, 2019, 08:03:55 pm
Environmentalist scored a huge victory in Bavaria, Germany on 13 Feb. 2019 as some 17% of Bavarian voters supported a referendum to force the Bavarian government to take meaningful action to combat the drastic decline in bird and insect numbers and species. It is expected that more German länder will soon follow Bavaria's lead. 10% support would have been required for the referendum to pass, so the people's desire was unmistakable.

If enough German länder follow Bavaria's lead, this might result in sorely needed land use changes throughout all of Germany. What about the EU and Britain? USA?
